Selena Gomez is an internationally well-known actress and performer. She is the star of Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. Selena was the first born of her mother, who was just sixteen at the age Selena. Selena got her first acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 as she was Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Thus she became one of the children that performed with the most well-known human-like purple dinosaur ever created. Selena was a part of several episodes of seasons 7 and 8 between 2001 until 2003. Selena wasn't the only singer who appeared on Barney And His Friends and Demi was also a part of the show at that time. Selena Gomez, after she left the TV series, was unsuccessful in auditions for movies and television shows. In 2003 she was given one small role Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over), and in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire as Julie. The film also featured her in the role of Emily Grace Garcia, a role she developed a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
