The international recognition of Selena Gomez as an actress and a performer is not disputed. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place was among Selena's most well-known productions. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July, 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Her parents are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. She was just 16 at the time Selena arrived. When she was just 9 years old, Selena landed her debut in the showbiz industry by playing Gianna on Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the youngsters who had the chance to play with the world's best-known reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena played a role in numerous episodes from seasons 7 and 8 in the period 2001 and 2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the only singer who sang on Barney And His Friends from 2001 to the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the team too. Selena Gomez, after she left the TV series, auditioned unsuccessfully for several films and other television shows. She had a smaller role in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003 and one more as Julie on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. In 2006, she appeared as Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. She played the role and composed a tune.
